Kristofferson’s career is the stuff of movies–literally! After an early career in the military as an Army Ranger helicopter pilot, he was assigned to West Point to teach English literature. He then moved to Nashville to pursue songwriting. Penning several songs made famous by other artists, he was also member of the outlaw country supergroup, The Highwaymen. His career then turned to Hollywood where he starred in many films.
